Inclusive services

You can freely choose the starting point in the ski area. Expect your ski instructor at the ski lift, at your hotel or use our VIP shuttle and come to the beginners & practice area Wiesenegg directly at SkiLL®

The private lessons include participation for up to 5 people. Additional people price on request.

Our ski instructors are highly qualified and are among the best in the Salzburg region. We select the ski instructor for the groups based on ability, a „Anwärter“ ski instructor is sufficient for beginners. Advanced and good skiers absolutely need a „Landes“ ski instructor, if you ski very well a „Staatlichen“ ski instructor is compulsory – this is the only way you can improve, as the ski instructor has the appropriate training.

The beginners & practice area Wiesenegg is located directly at the ski school:

FAQ - SKILL® Private Ski Lessons

A SKILL® private ski instructor teaches children and adults, from their first time on skis to focused technique training. Lessons are adapted to your ability and goals. SKILL® was named “Ski School of the Year” at the International Skiareatest 2024. Adults who are new to skiing can also choose our private beginner course over three half-days.

The Green option is for beginners and slightly advanced skiers, taught by an instructor with the Anwärter qualification. The Blue and Red option is for more experienced skiers and is taught by a Landesskilehrer. For advanced skiing on red and black pistes, lessons with a state-certified instructor are available. Tell us which pistes you can already ski in control and what you would like to improve so that we can help you choose.

You can book two, three or five hours of private ski tuition. Two-hour lessons run from 1 pm to 3 pm. Three-hour lessons run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm or from 1 pm to 4 pm. The five-hour option runs from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, including an additional one-hour lunch break. We confirm your lesson date and time when you book.

According to the current SKILL® price list, beginner private lessons start at €209 for two hours, €298 for three hours and €429 for five hours. Lessons with a Landesskilehrer or a state-certified instructor have the higher prices listed on this page. Up to five participants are included. Your booking offer shows the price for your chosen date and level of tuition.

Yes. SKILL® private lessons include up to five participants. Additional people may join on request for an extra charge. Similar skiing ability helps everyone learn together, so please tell us the participants’ ages and experience as well as the group size. If abilities differ significantly, we can discuss how to organise the lessons.

By arrangement, private lessons can start at a suitable meeting point in the ski area, such as a lift or your accommodation. For beginners, the Wiesenegg practice area beside SKILL® Ski School is a convenient starting point. We agree the exact meeting place based on your ability, where you are staying and your booked lesson.

Yes. Please tell us your preferred language when booking. Depending on the level of tuition, SKILL® offers English, German and Dutch, with French, Spanish and Italian also available in some cases. We match your language preference with instructor qualifications and availability and confirm the options for your dates.

You need suitable skis, ski boots, a ski helmet and weather-appropriate ski clothing, including gloves and goggles or sunglasses. You can reserve skis, boots and a helmet through SKILL® ski rental; rental equipment is arranged separately from private tuition. A neck tube such as the Burning SKILL™ Tube is an optional extra to cover your neck and face. Make sure everything fits comfortably and your vision remains clear.

Yes. The free SKILL® VIP shuttle can collect you from your accommodation within Saalbach Hinterglemm and take you back afterwards. Tell us where you are staying when you book. We will arrange the collection time, lesson start and return journey with you.

For a short walk to lessons and rental equipment, TALHEIMER offers accommodation in Saalbach Hinterglemm near the ski school. The three-star guesthouse is opposite SKILL®. Visit talheim.at for rooms and winter offers with dining and wellness options.
