FAQ - SKILL® Ski School

SKILL® offers Happy Minis for children aged 3–4, children’s ski lessons for ages 5–14 and a private beginner course for adults and teenagers aged 15 and over. A private ski instructor in Saalbach Hinterglemm can help children and adults from their first steps on skis through to advanced technique training. Choose your course based on age, skiing experience and what you would like to learn.

SKILL® received the “Ski School of the Year” award with Double Gold at the International Skiareatest 2024. You will be learning with an award-winning ski school in Saalbach Hinterglemm. SKILL® Ski School is at Wieshofweg 319, 5753 Saalbach Hinterglemm, directly beside the Wiesenegg beginner and practice area. The school has a children’s area with a magic carpet and access to practice lifts. Customer parking is available at the school. We confirm the meeting point for your course when you book.

Yes. SKILL® offers children’s group ski lessons in English and German. Other languages depend on the team available. For private ski lessons, we match your preferred language with the instructor’s qualification and availability. Please tell us your language preference when you enquire.

Yes. You can reserve equipment for your lessons through SKILL® ski rental in Saalbach Hinterglemm. The listed rental equipment is already included in the all-inclusive Kids and Minis packages. For other course options, let us know what you will bring and what you would like to hire.

Yes. SKILL® offers a free VIP shuttle service within Saalbach Hinterglemm. We can pick you up at your accommodation and take you back after your lessons. Tell us where you are staying when you book so that we can agree the collection time and return journey.

For a short walk to your lessons, TALHEIMER offers accommodation in Saalbach Hinterglemm opposite SKILL® Ski School. This three-star guesthouse is close to the ski rental shop and practice area. Visit talheim.at for rooms, meal options and current winter offers.
